This was our first time visiting. The Steak Frites was exceptional and cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed the Shrimp Po Boy. We had the triple chocolate cake to go. It was amazing when we tried it at home.
Went out for our anniversary and chose to eat here. It was for sure the right decision. Absolutely everything we ordered was fantastic and our waiter Elijah was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. Ask to be seated in his section if you go and I guarantee it will be an outstanding experience. We had fried green tomatoes and crawfish bisque as an appetizer, I had shrimp Étouffée the wife had shrimp and grits, we shared a slice of cheesecake topped with strawberries for dessert. Also we both had sweet tea as our drink and it was even next level great, good strong flavor with the perfect amount of sweet. Great job!!!!!!!
Loved this place! The food was amazing and the service was terrific. Server was polite and went above and beyond. I was only passing through town so I only went once but if I was a local id be there weekly. The catfish was amazing and the gumbo is to die for.
This place was recommended by several people when I asked for suggestions on short notice. We started with crab wontons, then have shrimp ettouffee and crabcakes orleans with cream spinach, followed with white chocolate bread pudding, which was surprisinglynot very bready, which i really liked! Actually thought it was cheesecake on the plate at first place. Food was no joke, dang fine! Waitress was fantastic, never let drinks go dry timing was perfecto. I'd LOVE to return, time will tell as we're here for a college visit to see if the Ole kiddo wants to make a home here next year.
Wonderful restaurant! We were just driving through and wanted a good dinner without a long wait. We were seated immediately and our server, Logan, was very attentive. I highly recommend the Zydeco Chicken! It was served with a Cajun sauce and andouille that was delicious!! The New Orleans/jazz atmosphere was a fun vibe. Upscale enough to enjoy an elegant dinner with the family, but casual enough for some tired travelers. We would definitely eat there again!
Went for mid-week dinner. Started with fried cheese curds, they were lightly breaded for a good crisp and cheesy bite. I chose a Dark & Stormy for my cocktail. I usually go for something sweet/fruity but the vibe of the restaurant is "Subtle Sexy" so my drink had to match! It was well crafted, a nice sip to unwind after work. For my entree, I ordered the Steak Frites, medium. Tender and full of flavor! We went home full and satisfied. The waitress was very nice, attentive without smothering, and the manager was doing the rounds to make sure everyone was enjoying their meal.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crescent City Grill never disappoints. Their brunch menu is incredible — everything from fresh seafood dishes to the Crescent City Burger with bacon, which is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is truly top‑tier. If you stop by the Mahogany Bar, Luke and Taylor will take great care of you. One of the best dining spots around!
Not on the menu, but I had the blackened salmon and shrimp with Mardi Gras pasta and it was fantastic. My daughter had the catfish with jambalaya and said the batter didn't have a lot of seasoning, but the jambalaya over top provided enough. We also ordered the white chocolate bread pudding. It's not a traditional bread pudding, texture was more like a thicker flan, but it tasted great. If we're in Hattiesburg again we'll be back!
Great food and drinks. Service was good also. I ordered a special fish of the day and this chef cooked it perfectly. That doesn't happen often at other restaurants. I will be coming back.
Great restaurant! We were trying to eat at another restaurant but stumbled into this place and glad we ate here. Food was incredible and loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was helpful and the food tasted amazing! Would love to eat here again to try other items in the menu.
